Weekends away

Every eighteen months or so the church holds a weekend away. On April 12th 2014 and 21st October 2017 we held away days at the Kemnay Church Centre. The last two Church Weekends Away were held at The Burn, Edzell on 26th-28th October 2018 and 4th-6th September 2015. Prior to that we held a weekend at the Atholl Centre, Pitlochry on 26th-28th October 2012 and weekends at Scottish Churches House, Dunblane, Perthshire on 7th - 9th March 2008, 24th-26th October 2009 and 25th - 27th February 2011. The previous three weekends were at the Compass Christian Centre in Glenshee, where some of us had a go on the climbing wall!

The theme of the 2009 weekend was 'covenants' and during a visit to Braco Roman fort, we saw a rainbow, a symbol of God's covenant. The theme of the 2011 weekend was 'hope'.
